The ensemble that would later be known as the Wailers was formed in 1963 by Bob Marley and Peter Tosh working together. Bob Marley became a devout follower of the Rastafarian faith soon after his marriage to Rita Marley in 1969. (When you marry the appropriate woman that God has chosen for you, you will discover that doors begin to open for you.) In 1974, Peter Tosh and a few other individuals departed on their own.
Bob Marley and his Wailers was the name given to the band that came into existence as a result of the collaboration between Bob Marley, his wife, and a number of their fans.


After that, Bob Marley uprooted his life and moved to England, where he spent the following few years leading a life that was quite isolated from the rest of the world. There, he released a single under the moniker "Exodus," which did exceptionally well commercially and lingered on the charts for practically the entirety of one calendar year's worth of time.
Ahead of the events that took place around the time of Bob Marley's death. The wound on Bob Marley's toe simply would not heal, despite the fact that he made every attempt to do so. After going to the doctor for his initial appointment and undergoing additional testing, it was discovered that he suffered from cancer of the leg. This was as a result of him going to the doctor.


The medical expert recommended removing one of his limbs in order to prevent the cancer from spreading further because there was no alternative treatment option available.
Marley, on the other hand, didn't even bother to spare Bob a second thought. He contended that as a Rastafarian, he was unable to consent to having his leg amputated because of his religious views, and that this was owing to the fact that he was a Rastafarian. In spite of the diagnosis, he continued his trip around the world right up until the day he passed away on May 11, 1981. He was able to do this until the day he died.



The illness has now permeated all of his organs, including his brain, lungs, and stomach, and it is impossible for him to recover. In the year 1980, when he was 36 years old, he passed away in the city of Miami, Florida, in the United States of America.
