Kanye West has lost his billionaire status after apparel giant Adidas cut ties with the ailing rapper and said he "does not condone anti-Semitism or other forms of hate speech". West's personal fortune took a hit when Forbes reported that the artist is now worth $400 million, up from $2 billion.
The partnership generated nearly $1.7 billion in sales for Adidas in 2020, according to Bloomberg, and is set to expire in 2026.
The following organizations also parted ways with Kanye:
- Balenciaga has stopped working with Kanye.
- His talent agency dumped him.
- The album is down 23% on October 20
- His bank cut ties with him.
- His record label "GOOD MUSIC" is no longer a part of Def Jam.
- His new lawyer left him.
- No access to posts on major social media platforms.
- Vogue cut ties with him.
All of this happened because Kanye made a statement against the Jewish people.
